I have sent a memo to Ryan asking him to follow up on our defeat of the Red Scars, in order to make certain the threat they pose has indeed ceased. At this point, however, I do not see this as necessarily a military problem.

At this point, the military problem consists of defending ourselves and civilian shipping within our space from retaliation. I do not believe us capable of defending well from threats in space, be it terrorists, military-style assault, or even pirates. This must be addressed as soon as practically possible.

I would like to know our options.
