Asrifel
Physical Description
The dark god Asrifel stands only at a height of 4?2, yet has an exceedingly broad and muscular form. He has short reddish hair but sports a long braided beard that reaches to his stomach. A black plate helmet, with curving demon horns, rests on top of his head, only covering his nose and framing his eyes, a rusty red full plate armor, covered in jagged spikes, encased the rest of Asrifels impressive form, with a dusty, tattered, gray and white feathered cloak draping behind him.
Portfolios
Since Asrifels conception into existence he has been nothing but a seething mass of hatred and contempt. He craves nothing more than the satisfaction of senseless slaughter, death, carnage and suffering. Asrifel cares little for his actual portfolios but relishes the power they give him to commit the sins of atrocity he so desires. Over the eons Asrifel has picked up the portfolios of Strength and Strife as he brutally cut down there former lords, and proved himself to be a far greater master than they could have ever been.
Goals/Beliefs
Asrifels goals are the same now as they were the day he first manifested, war and genocide, and he will stop at nothing to achieve them. He promotes the use of any tactic, any means, to provoke war, diplomacy, subtlety, trickery and out right aggression are all equal in his eyes. Killing is pleasure, a joy, a right, one should kill and kill often, anyone who would dare deny this right is the most loathsome of all creatures.
Ways of the Church
Not surprisingly most followers of Asrifel are full fledged psychopaths, many a violent warriors who care for little more than killing. Asrifel is almost exclusively worshipped by humans and dwarves since his part in the military force known as the legion declares all over forms of life should be exterminated. Still the odd member of other races occasionally pays Asrifel heed, crazed psychos as they are, they care little if he hates them or not.
Favored Weapons
Asrifel only has one weapon he carries about and that?s his legendry great rune axe Life Render. This huge weapon is created out of black adamantine stained with the blood of countless beings, it is rumored the enchantments this weapon possesses make weapons even more difficult to heal and they bleed much worse than normal, few have lived to confirm this.
Known History
Asrifel first manifested into existence as the Heavens War raged. Like many other deities who were born in that time Asrifel was a living manifestation of some of the energies, and emotions that were unleashed in that horrific confrontation. Asrifel ultimately was the personification of the hatred that so many of the beings of existence felt for each other. Born of nothing but malice this new godling threw himself into the carnage of the war with little care for who or what he was fighting or why.
Eventually as time wore on Asrifel ran into others like him and the dwarves pantheon was formed, at first he was their champion as he cut down several now long forgotten gods of darkness, but he did not stop there, the first lord of healing also died upon axe his axe for no other reason than to see if Asrifel could. Then the unthinkable happened, the Heavens War actually came to an end.
Asrifel was mortified, unable to comprehend the peace that was now beginning, he traveled to various worlds attempting to restart the chaos of the last great war but it was unsuccessful, he could cause little more than petty skirmishes and few beings possessed any sort of worthy challenge. It was than that Bazreal approached him with a plan, the Lord of Greed would play upon the desires of others encouraging great wars that Asrifel could lead and manipulate. Together the two set out upon the expansion of the dwarves race.
Early on the two gods encountered a new, upstart race, known as humanity, Asrifel watched with a growing hunger as he saw the devastation and destruction this race brought in its path, finally he could take no more and he attempted to scourge them from the world, it was then, that he meet the human God Sir Morital, and despite this new gods youth within several minutes of there battle Asrifel new he had meet his match. But that was not all he new, he had seen the coldness, the cruelty in the human gods eyes. Asrifel withdraw and humbly apologized to the human deity, slowly he befriended him and then he began to work his own dark plan.
Asrifel gradually pushed out Sir Morital?s brother Verlurvas, he convinced Sir Morital that humanities troubles lay in the other older races, that they were constantly attempting to keep humanity down. He turned Sir Morital away from the Demon kind he had so long hunted and unleashed him upon the other races of existence. Sir Morital, Asrifel and Bazreal formed the mighty world purifying force known as the Legion and Asrifel would at last have the wars he had so long craved.
Since then untold billions have died at these beings hands, one of Asrifels most notorious kills was when he defeated the Hane wind goddess Syvlunis, her death was agonizingly slow and echoed the mountainside for hours before its completion. Her wings were stripped of feathers to serve as Asrifels cloak. Another was the Goddess Pax, deity of Peace and Unity, daughter of Verlurvas, Asrifel killed her for many reasons, one of which involved Sir Morital seizing control of her creation, the world of Earth.
Asrifels plans have not gone perfectly however, the deity Aev?ilis has avoided his rage for eons and even destroyed his brother Bazreal, it fills Asrifel with untold frustration that he has not after all this time been able to find and destroy her. Verlurvas now stands directly opposed to Asrifel and his church, his followers being responsible for the death of many of Asrifels finest. Worst of all Asrifel has lost his control over Sir Morital and the legion with it, and somewhere in the darkness the deity Timmain waits.
Still in the end its exactly what Asrifel wants, hate and slaughter reign as supreme now as it did the day he was born. Asrifel can hardly wait.
Hite Tsunaranu
Physical Description
The true from of Hite is that of a mighty multitheaded colossal dragon. The body is covered in midnight glossmer scales and ends with a long thick tree trunk like tail. Rippling legs and forearms are tipped with razor sharp claws, while pale white wings of titanic size erupt out from her back. Most terrifying of all are her seven draconic heads, each a unique color, Red, Bronze, Black, Silver, Blue, Gold, Green. Hite is however more commonly encountered in her secondary human form. Here she appears as a young, well toned, muscular woman with short shoulder length white hair. Standing at 6?5, dressed in full body black adamantine plate mail with a large great sword sheathed over her back, she is quiet an imposing sight.
Portfolios
Since her ascension to god hood Hite has been the appointed guardian to the literal gates of heaven. However this protective quality also extends outwards to include dragon kind, holy sites and scared artifacts. Hite is a protector, a guardian, and when not personally guarding heavens gates she is usually checking in on dragon kind or in search of threats to the safety of heaven itself. Hite is also the goddess of redemption, as she once tasted the bitterness of corruption herself, as such she is always willing to help those with tainted souls find the path back into the light..
Goals/Beliefs
Hite?s greatest goal is to prevent any powerful evil from gaining entrance into the Celestial Kingdom. While some individuals my slip around the gate via smaller portals or magic?s Hite usually leaves the Celestial Angels to deal with these, her main concern is powerful evils, infernal armies, mighty Sorcerers, Demon Princess and Dark Gods, it is because of these that Hite truly guards the gates. Hite does not believe in simply waiting for evil to come to you, often she searches out dark artifacts or sinister beings that may be planning against heaven itself. Hite also believes in the second chance, that all deserve one opportunity to right the wrongs of the past, but Hite is no fool and there are no third chances.
Ways of the Church
Followers of Hite often consist of dragons or half dragons and a surprising amount of redeeming criminals. Her draconic worshippers normally take the from of dragon knights, hunting down dragon slayers and protecting young dragons until they are able to do so themselves. The other members of her church spend their time in search of lost relics or hunting down infernal beasts, guarding holy sites of other good deities in their off time.
Favored Weapons
Naturally Hites most favored weapons are her claws and teeth, but when in her human appearance she proudly wields her Greatsword, a blade imbued with the celestial radiance of the high heavens, Purifier. Hite also possess access to a another powerful greatsword by the name of the Ryuoh, a mighty weapon that can cut through some of the strongest metals, though she usually leaves this one in the possession of her most favored mortal.
Known History
In ancient times, after the Heavens war but before the age of the Saalise, the world of Newstar was a blazing battlefield. Here legendry heroes and arcane masters did battle with mighty dragons and infernal demons, amongst all this lesser gods fought and died, it was a world locked in an eternal war.
Upon Newstar there had once been a powerful council of dragons, but now it found its numbers dwindled, demons on onside, the armies of humanity on another, extinction seemed only a matter of time. Seven of the councils most powerful gathered and formulated a plan to save their kind, drawing upon the highest degrees of draconic magic and the blessings of the twin goddess?s Newstar and Redstar each sacrificed the essence of their souls. This collective essence merged into a single, new entity, and thus, the dragon Hite Tsunaranu was born.
Filled with thoughts of confusion, hate and rage Hite?s first act was to devastate the armies of humanity before turning upon demon kind with her murderous fury. Hite?s intervention succeeded in halting the immediate progress of dragon kinds enemies but it had made her a hunted being by almost all sides. It was at this time that sanity came to her and she took on her own identify, creating her humanoid form the ?dragon? Hite vanished from Newstar.
Wrapped in the guise of man Hite traveled Newstar, fighting against the forces of darkness while slowly educating those around her in the ways of dragons, partially healing the rift. Eventually news reached her of a dark being on a world far away attempting to unleash an unspeakable evil, Hite joined a team of adventurers and ultimately confronted a champion of the Dead Lord of Chaos, a being who wielded the fabled Staff of Seven parts, the key to the Gates of Hell. In the battle Hite unveiled her true form, slaughtered the Chaos Lord and shattered the staff. Unable to destroy it she traveled the Cosmos hiding each of the pieces in a different place before personally taking upon guardianship of the most darkest.
Eternity went on with Hite in her exiled role of guardianship, the evil of the staff played upon her mind, it was unable to deterred her from her role of protector ship but her mind became twisted and cruel. Eventually heroes reclaimed the staff piece and Hite in raged hunted them down, in a battle of legendry perorations Hite was wounded badly, when in the eyes of an innocent she find her inner self, caught up in her sudden moment of clarity and understanding her guard wavered and the Heroes killed her.
Her legend would have ended there, but sometime later the dragon goddess Redstar and Newstar stirred from their long sleep, awoken by the sinful acts of vile Decorous, still psychically unable to intervene they began to resurrect Newstar ancient heroes, Hite was no exception. In the final confirmation against the Decorous, Hite herself lead the charge of Newstar?s armies.
With the Decorous finally beaten, due to the intervention of multiple deities and several racial special super powers the Twin dragon goddess?s moved to imbue Hite with the spark of Divine power and Tsunami herself, ruler of heaven, appointed Hite to her current position of guardianship.
